Very Scared

Exactly 4 weeks back i went to a barber shop and got my head shaved. Barber used one of these mach4 gillete razor to shave my head and pretty much sure he didnt change razor don't even know if he had washed cleaned or steralized it also. When i came home noticed i have a red bump on head. Recently i have noticed rashes on chest and thigh which are very scaring. Also felt fatigue last week for two days. Didn't have fever but was feeling very cold. Could this incidence at the barber shop give me the HIV virus. I have heard mixed answers and this thing is driving me crazy. Should i go get myself tested for HIV. Please help.

Sorry to confuse you Lizzie. It was red bump only but i thought it would have been because of a cut or something.

HHHUUUMMM...so now your red bump has turned into a cut???

hiv does not remain active outside it's host.  you had no risk.

You were never at risk of contracting HIV from a barber. See a dermatologist if you have a concern.

hiv is not going to just "jump" into your scalp.
