Scared

Today I went to a eye surgeon for a upper layer removal. The process was smooth and was good. It bleed a bit but nothing much happened because the nurse applied a ointment in my eyes. But then that scared me lot because the ointment was half empty and the nurse used that ointment directly into my eyes. Now I'm fearing a lot because the ointment tip directly touched my eyes inner layer. Can i get hiv from it. Please help me

No. HIV does not survive outside the body. You had no risk for HIV.

Body fluids exposed to air, outside the body, are unable to cause infection.
