Ways to move forward, please help.

Hello, I have hesitated before creating an account. I have read through numerous questions on the website but I cannot relate to any of them. Please feel free to refer the question to another community if deemed more appropriate. Thank you for not judging me.

What happened to me:

I was walking in a forest known for gay cruising. I always got excited about the idea but never acted on it or wanted to. The other day an older man followed me and stopped next to me with his pants down, touching himself. I was aroused but also very anxious and did not touch the person. He then grabbed my (visible) bulge without my consent and I felt very uncomfortable but also shocked and unable to move. He continued pleasuring himself with the other hand while holding onto my penis through my clothes. (Not sure if this changes anything but I believe I had some (my own) precum seeping through my underwear and pants creating a small stain. I never touched the man except to get his hands off me. He touched me and I do not know if he had anything on his hand that could go trough the clothing/stain. To my knowledge he did not ejaculate. I left)

I realize there is a psychological element to this that I need to address separately.

My Questions:

1.  However, could anyone knowledgeable shed light on my risk in regards to HIV and other STDs?
2. Does this warrant testing of any kind ? If not, can I let this go?
3. Can I continue to have sexual relations with my long term partner without putting him at risk?

Thank you for your help. I realise many things are at play here, guilt, shame and anxiety. I want to move on from this and most of all not put my partner at risk. I never wanted this to happen and I am still shaken.

Thank you

The only risks for HIV in adults are:
1) Having unprotected (no condom) penetrative anal or vaginal sex, OR
2) Sharing IV drug equipment with other IV drug users.

If you never do either of those activities with someone of unknown HIV status, you will NEVER have to worry about HIV.

Neither HIV nor STDs are transmitted by hands, or through clothing - EVEN IF the hands have blood or fluid on them.  No one is at risk for anything here - not you, and not your partner.
