What is my HIV risk?

I have one question. several months ago i visited an asian country (china) where i visited a massage place. There the lady offered me intercourse but i rejected. However, she did give me an oral sex. She did put some plastic bag on my pennis as a barrier for oral. But since before that, she did some hand job for me and applied oil onto my genital, i am not sure whether the presence of the oil will interfere with the effectiveness of the plastic barrier, although i did not feel any breakage and did not see visible blood onto top of the plastic (is the blood from mouth the only risk factor for oral sex?)

I flew back to US 2 or 3 weeks later. Immediately after i got back to US, i felt not very well. maybe some fever but no other symptoms. I completely recovered within 2 days. Should I worry about this?

As i understand from my previous reading, the risk for this exposure is small. But how realistic is it? Should i do a test?

thanks a lot

No, it makes no difference.  If it did not break, you were 100% protected.  And oral sex is safe sex, so there was no risk even without a barrier.

No more "yes but" or "what if" questions, please.  There is nothing you can add that could possibly change my opinion or advice.

Thank you very much, Dr. Handsfield.
but for the barrier thing, i think it is plastic but i cannot rule out it might be made of latex, though in either case i did not feel any clear breakage. Does this make difference?

Even without a barrier, there is almost no risk for HIV by oral sex.  And with a plastic barrier, there is no risk at all.  Oil weakens latex, but not plastic.

There was no risk.  You could not have caught HIV and do not need testing.
