White Spots on Gums

Hi all,

I was wondering if any of you knew what this might be.  I just looked in my mouth and noticed white spots on my gums.  There were about 3-4 spots scattered on my upper and lower gums.  I was able to scrape away the white spots with my finger nail.  A couple of them were kind of clear and one or two of them were bright white.  They were not painful either.  Should I be worried about anything?

-Thanks in advance.

use an mouth wash like listerine to see if it helps but usually mouth infections are common especially when you are looking for something to be wrong with your body
