White tongue-To Teak

Is white furry tongue or may be thrush is a primary symptom of hiv infection?
What is the percentage?
Have you seen this in new hiv infections??

I did actually. Trust me the Undiagnosed Symptoms forum here doesn't help at all.
But I guess you are right, you surely know your stuff well and like everyone else here I do take your advice seriously too. But sometimes we just want to share some concerns/get some support, especially when we have similar symptoms/concerns here that's the kind of site that we are able to help each other out. Sorry for the trouble though.

Well from what I remember her symptoms were lot worst, she has extreme symptoms for nearly a year. She still has these oral/throat problems, rash, swollen lymph nodes and she has done every test out there possible but doctors there still couldn't find out the cause. But I guess the similarity is that these symtoms are all viral nature (oral/throat problems, swollen nodes etc).

Teak I understand what you think here, but please don't assume us all are suffering from stress or anxiety symptoms or something. We have real health concerns here, and it does look like XXX or some very strange virus as coz80 would say. Anxiety won't give people swollen lymph nodes and white furry tongue, but virus could.
Coz80 I really have no idea what is this, I have heard from another person who got similar symtoms too,  or even worst. She is conclusively negative but still suffer badly from symptoms. Most of her doctors still worried it could be XXX or something because of her symptoms, but again she is conclusively negative even today so they don't really know what is it. There are definitely some strange unknown virus around, just hope it is not as deadly as XXX, maybe some type of mono hopefully.

yes it doesnt heart but look like very red coloured...
In my tongue also I do not feel any pain but dense white coating........
I think my smoking habit could be the reason of 11 week negative.??
have you seen a doc for your throat??
only 5-6 days more to count down.......
I will never be the same again??   :=((
either this is XXX or some very strange virus or something??
I have seen few people on net with same conditions but with 12/13 week negative.
This miracle is my only hope.......

The back of my throat still doesn't look good, its been going on for months, no pain though, just disgusting look. Eating chips can only help to make it look better temproary, plus I enjoy eating chips too, but that said it probably helps nothing at all, doesn't hurt much though.

anxiety can not cause white furry tongue??
stress can not create night sweats??
stress con not cause swollen nodes??
anxiety can not cause extreme fatigue for two and half  months??
stress can not cause yellow pink patch/skin rash of 3.5 inch?
and if it is because stress and anxiety then how it can be that suddenly after week 13 everything is ok except tongue and nodes problem.
I think the test at 11 week was right??.......the lab messed up the things
I have seen the results on internet there could be false data entry.....??

do you still have visible blood vessels like red spots  in you throat??
mine is not going away.
I also have 2 or 3 small ulcers on the upper side of my tongue.

I have white furry tongue too, exactly like yours, white pin like dots all over the top, so I totally understand what you mean. In fact, my tongue really look like a mess sometimes, especially in morning, although I have also found out that eating chips would actually help to lessen the condition, how strange.
I have read it is could sign of viral infection, or chronic viral illness, or toxins in blood, or heavy smoking, or many other things as well. It is not necessary a sign of any incurable disease though.

Anyone can have a white tongue hiv- or positive. Thrush is not specific to HIV, any one can have thrush, positive or negative for HIV.
