Why does the body p24 antigen disappears after a few weeks?

Hi, I'm sorry my English worse. My question is: Why does the body p24 antigen disappears after a few weeks? This is due to formation of antibodies? Thx

thx, And how much are sensitive tests to capture antibodies when begin to decrease p24 antigen?

Ab attach to the the P24 antigen and the P24 can no longer be detected.

Sorry have just re-read my answer and it isnt clear. It always exists, but at higher levels after contracting HIV until the antibodies kick in.

P24 Antigen exists before the body reacts to HIV. When it reacts it produces antibodies against the HIV, which cause the P24 Antigen to 'disappear' as you put it.
