HIV Concern

Hi Doctor,
Three weeks ago I got a handjob from a csw in Thailand. She said afterwards that she has cut her finger some 3 hrs back but no blood was visible to the naked eye. I have also inserted two of my fingers in her vagina for a minute or so. My finger seems fine except for the rough dead skin near my nails. Now I'm worried of HIV ever since. Please help...

Hi Teak!!! Just to be "100% sure", I had a taken a HIV 1/2 & P 24 combo test (CMIA) on 28th day of my misadventure where it reads Index value at .31 and result Non Reactive. Is it the 4th generation test? and secondly is it conclusive for 100 % peace of mind? Please Teak, help me the last time...Thanks again..

You welcome.

HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug users
Mother to child

Keep that in mind and you won't have to concern yourself with contracting HIV.
