Reread mike's reply and you weren't the first person to have the test ran on you in clinic.
Thanks alot guys I will be working on controlling my anxiety for this believe me i know i sound rediculous. but thanks anyways
You took a FDA approved test at the right time, there's nothing to worry.
If you are having problems see a doctor. It has nothing to do with who, where, when and how the test was administered. The test you took was/is a 20 minute test. You are negative.
what do u mean that it doesnt matter who what when or where it was administered are you saying like its idiot proof lol im sry im just trying to understand what u meant exactly.
Had unprotected sex with 2 individuals unknown status...test was taken 2 or 3 years after the exposure im pretty sure im ok but i just cant get it outta my mind that the nebraska aids project which is where i took the ora quick advance oral fluid test. That they messed up the test or that i might have messed up the test somehow.Or that it was just a messed up test in general. Should I have taken a blood test instead or is the oral fluid one just as good. Just trying to make sure that i left no stones left unturned.
I just wanted to make sure that somewhere down the line that if I ever needed to take a actual blood test for something other than this that they wouldn't find hiv in there. Was very scared of the accuracy of the test since i got my results in 20 minutes. Never had to really deal with this sort of thing but I believe im getting alot more educated on the issue. Just makin sure that a blood test wouldnt be positive after a negative ora quick advance oral fluid test? After testing 2 yrs after exposure...Also a little worried I got a screwed up ora quick advance oral fluid test do this happen alot?
