hiv test where?

I'm going to get hiv test at 6 weeks
but i dont know where to get it
there are so many website for the test and i have no idea which one is reliable
do they provide the most recent/updated test?
and how much is the test?
and what kind of test should i get? just regular antibody test?
need your help..

It would be pointless for you to get a separate ANTIGEN test as the window for detection of antigens has past. By now your body would be producing antibodies which would eliminate antigens. If your test is a 4th gen Ag/Ab test then you would get both anyway.

Any hospital is OK, but you may want to ask what their turn around time is. Ask them if their test is rapid or same day results for your peace of mind.

Any test given at a Dr.'s office, GLBTcenter or clinic is reliable. Rapid Tests are just as accurate as traditional tests.
