Well, that's a good point, I am just confused about how antibodies from herpes 1 could affect a HIV test. Can they?
No and why are you taking an HIV test when you've never had an exposure?
My doctor just said we are testing for diabetes and HIV through a blood test, I guess to be thorough, so we can rule out/narrow down causes of the yeast infections. And that just seemed scary, then I read articles about false positives from herpes antibodies, I've had the herpes 1/cold sores my whole life, and that concerned me. I guess I'm probably just being paranoid.
Thanks for the reality check, googling health conditions probably wasn't the best idea for me, got me playing what-if!
