Yes I was bad and received Oral sex with a young lady. A week later I felt discomfort in my genital area. I saw the doctor but he gave me a water based drug called Zmax. Is it possible I got a veneareal diseas from the sexual encounter? And how long should I wait for contact with anyone after I took the Zmax?

Contracting oral STDs is not rare at all. If you beleive you may have been infected orally, get an oral test done.

It is very rare to contract an STD by receiving oral sex.
And "discomfort" is not an STD symptom.
Follow your doctor's advice, but I think you have nothing to worry about.

He should have tested you before giving you the Zmax. He should at least test you in 14 days.

Thanks again Teak. By the way, is there any 'Over The Counter' tests I can use right now? I thought it a little strange the doctor did not take any tests but went on my verbal description. He is my family doctor and I guess he knows this was not normal behavior for me...

Teak thank you so much for this information. I live with a woman who is my mate and this has been very strenuous on me. I have been trying my best to avoid intimacy with her as I do not wish to expose her to my act of unfaithfulness in addition to the consequences. Should I not kiss her or have PROTECTED sex with her?

Usually 7-14 days. Sometimes it's quicker than that. But you need to return to your doctor.

It was just a small bottle with powdery substance in it that I added water to. I swallowed it all in the office immediately. Should he have gave me additional doses?

After you finish your meds and return to you doctor and get an all clear from him.
