Chance of contracting HIV and HCV

I recently had a blood test in hospital. I am concerned the technician fiddled with the top of the sharps container and then took my blood without washing their hands in between. If the container had blood on the lid could this have been transferrred to my arm and then injected into my blood stream?
I am paniccing now that I have been put at risk of HIV or hepatitis.

HIV can not be transmitted like that.  You have NO HIV risk.
