Can hpv mimic ars symptoms?
No, localize lymph node swelling which lasts only a day is not suggestive of ARS. EWH
What about my swollen groin node it onlg lasted a day..is that an ars symptom?
Welcome to our Forum. It is not clear how long it has been since the exposures that you describe. Overall however I suspect your risk for HIV is low. Your partner indicated that he did not have HIV an people typically tell the truth. Furthermore, few heterosexual men have HIV (less than 1 in 10,000) and the risk of HIV transmission, if your partner was infected is only 1 in 1000.
HPV is common an does not predict that you have HIV.
My advice is to go on an get tested. I suspect the result will be negative and, as long as it has been more than 8 weeks since your last exposure the result will be definitive. I hope my comments are reassuring. EWH
