He told me that he did not have HIV and stated that he got tested and it was negative. After we  had sex.about I week later I had a swollen node in my groin not really tender. After that I found out I had hpv. Im realky scared that he gave me hiv as well....you said in early post that nodes are not tender in hiv early symptoms...i havent had any flu like symptoms. No, localize lymph node swelling which lasts only a day is not suggestive of ARS.  EWH

Welcome to our Forum. It is not clear how long it has been since the exposures that you describe.   Overall however I suspect your risk for HIV is low. Your partner indicated that he did not have HIV an people typically tell the truth.  Furthermore, few heterosexual men have HIV (less than 1 in 10,000) and the risk of HIV transmission, if your partner was infected is only 1 in 1000.

HPV is common an does not predict that you have HIV.

My advice is to go on an get tested.   I suspect the result will be negative and, as long as it has been more than 8 weeks since your last exposure the result will be definitive.  I hope my comments are reassuring. EWH
