blood in supermarket

Today i went to the supermarket and on the side of the shelf next to the newspapers was a big splodge of blood, i noticed it as i leant across to get a paper and suddenly stopped myself. i am now concerned that it could be hiv infected blood and think that the arm of my coat may have brushed against it, i now feel i should wash my coat and the inside of my car etc. it was a large mark of blood, am i at any risk?

no it wasn't blood on a newspaper, it was blood on the newspaper stand and it clearly was a large amount, so therefore there must be a small risk. i just wanted some advice!
