can a newborn get hiv by heel-prick test?

I brought my newborn to a clinic to checking his jaundice index.the nurses used a lancet device to prick my baby's heel then used a capillary to collect a small sample  of his blood.i realized that the lancet device is old and dirty, obviously they did not change a new one.if they reused the lancet,if the lancet was used by a person who have HIV,is that any risk for my baby to be infected?l'm a worrying mom and thank u for your answer.Sorry for my poor English.

If you noticed that the lancet was dirty, why didn't you speak up?

The fear that needles, lancets, etc are reused is unreasonable and irrational.  Almost all lancets manufactured these days are single use products anyway.

Your baby didn't have a risk, even if the lancet WAS reused (which I highly doubt).
