anxious for possible infection
8 months ago i had sexual contact with with my friend who was recently diagnosed last month with HIV+. I am worried if i got already infected also. am i infected in that case?

even though your friend was diagnosed hiv +...keep in mind these two things. 1)your friend could have acquired hiv after you exposure and 2)having sex with someone who is hiv + doesnt mean automatic infection.

Go and get tested as soon as possible,you had an extremely high risk exposure and the test you take will be conclusive.I wish you the very best of luck.
