Yest infection an early sign of hiv?

I have suffered 2 yeast infections in 5 weeks.  I keep reading that this is an early sign of hiv.  I recently had a negative hiv test at 3 mos after a possible exposure.  After the relief of the test, I am frustrated to have to worry about hiv again after all that I have read.  What do you all think?

This is an HIV forum and you don't have HIV. Look else where for why you have an itchy penis.

Can some one please help me give some advice of what I should do? My penis is driving me crazy its itching like mad 24 hours a day!!! I feel like cutting it off!! Ive been to my doctor and clinics several times plus a uroligist, Still no nearer whats causeing it and how to cure it. Ive been miserable 4 months!!!

Andy, you probably have yeast or (other) fungus infection. If you are un-cut, this is common from foreskin problems (unfortunately for us foreskinners). This is far far far more common then hiv ever is. Doctors sometimes have had time finding anything to cure this or ease, when it starts it's pretty presistant (but usually comes and goes in flame ups). Not considered std.

Thank you for your reply Teak. Im still worried as I keep geting a itchy penis plus yeast inections and I am also geting tingles up my hands and arms!!  went see a uroligist recentley there testing a urine sample not sure for what as I have already had my urine tested at the clinic, plus had another blood test. If they come back ok I HOPE!! they will insert a camera down my penis in to my bladder to find out what is going on!!
What could be causeing these symptoms?

Oh sorry I thought you meant stress! I could have my blood pressure tested by my GP. I doubt it will help me much. Probaley give me another blood test!!

I hope you took hyper tension as high BP. I had this sensation on feet when I had high BP and a doctor said BP causes this.

No its not, I like to think it could be just stress but its not!! my arms feel strange all the time!! I try to do things to take my mind off the feeling but it won't go away?

tingling sensation can be a symptom of hyper tension too. please check it?

Hi

I am extremley worried i Keep getting tingling sensations up down my arms and around my body, It keep happening for no reason. I also have terrible itch on my penis which keeps getting yest infections. Could be HIV or some other infection or disease??
I have been reffered to a uroilgist which is later this week.
I have had a number of tests have come back fine, but something serious is going on. This is not in my head these symptoms happen on there own!!

no it cannot be spread through wet tissue!!!!!  hiv becomes inactive outside it's host.

you have a 12 week negative test result and do NOT have a hiv concern.  move on!

Hi I had sex with a prostitue in london soho, I was drunk probaley stupid thing to do!! after having sex she handed me a wet tissue, i looked puzzled has they usually give you dry tissue's she said it was just water she was rubbing her vagina with another one, I used the tissue because I was drunk, but now Im extremely worried she put something on the tissue!!

I also gave a guy oral sex night that night for five mins, which makes me is something to do with him.

some days or weeks later I had number  of symptoms spots on my penis which was bright orange, plus there was horrible fishy smell plus sores around the outside of mouth and I keep geting yeast infections. I was also ill for a week or so. I have been to a GUM clinc got tested after 6 and 12 weeks and all test results where negative. Im currently taking Econazole cream to clear up the yeat infections.
Can hiv be spread through wet tissue???

Hi I have same problem js734, I keep getting terrrible yeast infections which causees terrible pain to my penis!!! I tested negative after 6 and 12 weeks for everything at my local clinc. Ive been to the gp  tried different creams and now on tablets which is making body feel weird!!  and my penis is still itching!!! I feel fustrated and angry, i have no idea what to do? I'm still worried i've got hiv!!
