concerned

I have a question. About a yr and two months ago I had unprotected oral sex. I did it one time and then there was some rubbing. He did ejaculate on my pubic hairs. I freaked. It was my first time doing that. A month later I went to the hospital they took blood checked to see if I was pregnant. I was so glad I wasn't. about a month ago I had what I believe to be sinus attack. I had slight runny nose a cough headache and ear clogging. I took Robitussin and it cleared up besides the ear clog and swollen lymph node. I got amoxicillin and it went away. Now after I stopped the prescription I sometimes feel a slight tightness on the same side of my neck. I'm worried it could be HIV. I'm scared to get tested. I didn't mention it wen I went to the hospital BC it wasn't on my mind. Am I freaking out for nothing or should I just get the test.

You never had an exposure.

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug users
Mother to child
