confused - Teak are you there?

I know you've answered this several times so I apologize for the repetitiveness.  Can ARS ALONE cause genital ulcers?  I had multiple very painful genital ulcers with fever, chills, sore throat, etc..  Have tested for HIV 5 times - up to 8 years after outbreak - HIV1/2 combo test and HIV 1 test.  Have tested negative for herpes countless times.  Never had recurring symptoms.  1 risky exposure with caucasian male.  There is so much conflicting info about ARS causing genital ulcers.  Found this post from Dr. on this forum some time ago:

You have been to a total of 11 doctors, it would be difficult to add anything consider I cannot examine you.  Here are a few other considerations for genital lesions that you may want to consider.

Other than herpes, other lesions to consider would be chancroid (Haemophilus ducreyi), granuloma inguinale (Calymmatobacterium granulomatis), syphilis (Treponema pallidum), HIV-specific ulcers (acute HIV infection or late HIV), and lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV, Chlamydia trachomatis serovars L1-3).

But...other doctors (HHH) say HIV itself doesn't cause ulcers.

Thanks for your help....I just can't get over this....I know, major OCD alert, right?

You've had doctor's tell you NO and you have had a doctor tell you he couldn't tell you more without actually seeing you. As for HIV you don't have it as your tests have confirmed.
