fingered menstruating prostitute - blood on fingers

I had gone to a massage parlour and engaged in fingering a prostitute. I inserted 2-3 fingers and played around for 30 minutes. Later I realized that my fingers were literally covered in her blood. I fear she was menstruating. I have cuts on my fingers as I have the nasty habit of eating my nails and skin around it. There were several tiny spots on my fingers where blood has come out due to my eating nails. These could be very new also (don't remember). Am very fearful. Am I at a risk. Please help.

hiv can only infect a very few, very specific types of cells. these cells are not found in your finger. if you had a cut on your finger larger enough, open enough and bleeding enough to be a real pathway to cells that hiv CAN infect, believe me, you wouldn't be sticking it into some woman's vagina.

"HIV isn't so easily transmitted.  Minor cuts and trivial blood exposures simply don't create a measurable risk.  Like many persons, you seem to think that "just one virus" is enough to transmit the infection.  That is not the case.  Substantial amounts of infected blood or secretions have to be introduced into the body in a way that exposes certain cells to the virus.  If HIV could be transmitted in the ways you are worrying about, AIDS would be 100 times more common than it is."  DR. Dear Friends, I am sorry but am not able to allay my fears. (i) There was lot of blood on my hand and on the insides of my nails, when i withdrew. (ii) I was inside her for around 30 minutes (very long period). (iii) there are cuts on my hands, specially a pretty large one at the bottom of one fingernail (seems open even now, for all i know).

Perhaps am paranoid and only need some re-assurance. Should i continue normal sexual relationship with my partner (seeing tomorrow)? Will not ask again. Thx.

I think I have been misunderstood. This is a new situation. I had visited this parlour today only.  I understand that fingering is low/no risk, but with menstruation blood, am a little worried.
