Oral Thrush
Is oral thrush a symptoms of ARS? Or does this normally not set in until much later?
You didn't have a risk of contracting HIV. You had protected sex and were advised of it in your first post.
It may be in the minority of cases (e.g. DHHS guidelines estimate the incidence of thrush during primary infection at 12%), usually it develops much later, if develops at all. Most importantly, it is not specific to HIV and may be caused by other conditions: use of antibiotics, diabetes, etc.
