Possible Exposure

Hello,
I recently went to a local massage parlor where i had sexual intercourse with the woman. This was done with a condom on and I did cum. After it was all said and done I felt disgusted with myself, went home and showered. As I was showering I noticed a small cut at the top of the shaft of my penis, where it could have possibly been exposed to her fluids, barring the condom didn't cover it completely. It's been about 4 weeks now and I am worried I may have been exposed to hiv. I've also had a pretty bad cold the past few days which makes me worry even more. I did read some symptoms are similar to those of a cold/flu.
I was tested 2 days ago and am waiting on results. Should I really be as worried as I am, losing sleep and all?

Cold has nothing to do with an indication of HIV virus. Symptoms do not define presence of HIV virus. Many sources on the internet would misguide you. Its your  choice to trust the kind of source.

Thanks for the response!

I have read bodily fluids into cuts can cause one to contract the virus. Is that not the case here? Why not?

I was diagnosed with a cold this week and have a really bad cough and sore throat. I shouldn't be worried even with this currently going on?

Thanks again for the response as it does kind of put my mind at ease.

Hi, HIV is not transmitted that way. You were never at risk from the activity above and do not need any testing. Also, theres a difference between cold and flu symptoms. Cold and Flu are not one and the same.
