Hiv INSTI RAPID TEST

Hi there ,
I had a risk encounter for hiv 3 months ago .
I took a hiv rapid point of care test at 11 weeks which was negative .
They say that rapid test are conclusive at 12 weeks . I took it at 11 weeks
Do I need to retake one at 12 weeks ? Is it going to change ?
Please let me know .

As stated, this is an HIV forum, and we are not able to assist members with fears that arise as a result of lack of trust in well-established medical tests and the facilities that perform those very standard tests.

Unprotected vaginal sex is not a risk ?
Since when ?
I am a female who had sex with an unknown male .
So you telling me that is not a risk ?
So I should go and have unprotected sex because that is not a risk for hiv ?
Are you serious
I can't see your deleted posts, and took the wrong approach to find what you had written, so ignore my above.

I should have asked you if this encounter from 3 months ago is the same one that you posted about when you joined in June. It surely was, which means you wouldn't accept the advice in June so your thread was closed.
It was deleted because I asked  a anxiety related question . And they closed my posts .
Not because I didn’t have a risk .
All I want to know is the accuracy of rapid test at 11 weeks .
And if I need to do one at 12 weeks .
I miscounted and I did it at the wrong time .
But if you don’t want to answer that never mind
The guidelines are created by medical professionals, so it is best to stick to them. A duo is conclusive at 4 weeks, any other test is conclusive at 12. If you used a duo, then you're conclusively neg. I can't make it any simpler.

I found your original post. In that post you said, "I did a few tests including a conclusive one which all of them are negative ."  You also indicated that you are paranoid that the lab is lying to you.

WE CANNOT HELP WITH THAT. This is an HIV forum, not an axiety support forum.

If you can't get past this, seek mental health counseling.
I am already seeing mental help .
Because I know I need it .
But the reason why I’m doing the rapid test is beachside they actually do it in front of you .
So that way I can for sure believe
Anything that is done behind my eyes I can’t trust .
It’s easy to just say it’s negative .
I have to see to believe .
So I’m doing that .
11 weeks rapid test negative
Wondering if the 12 week would make a big difference
That’s all .
Other than that I won’t be posting anymore .
But if you don’t want to help that’s also fine .
Thank you
