You are not listening. You do not have HIV. Rather than continue to encourage your unwarranted anxiety, this will be the last reply.
People with ADVANCED HIV do get thrush BUT most people with thrush do not have HIV. Thrush in common in people who are taking antibiotics.
This will end this thread. No further answers. EWH
sir i went to see the soctor yesterday......she looked at my tounge and told me that its a oral yeast thrush from zitromax antibody....so i shouldnt worry....and prescribed me nustatin susp.......and it will go away in few days....but i also read somewhre on the internet that yeast infection is a symptom of hiv...how correct it that...
Absolutely. You need to stop worrying about HIV. EWH
so sir u r suggesting that i should not worry about it the little white dots on my tounge and rely on the hiv negative testing....and my my chances of contracting hiv are very low to nill.....
You are focused on something that you do not have. What you describe, as well as the setting in which it has occurred does not suggest OHL. I will not go into a long and drawn out iscussion of OHL in this setting. EWH
thank you.....just few more questions i want to clear........OHL does it start at the rear end of the tounge? the spots i hav they are at front of the tounge....and how long should i wait before they go away? does OLH lesions go away without treatment.....and if they do go away on its own how long does it take for them to go away...thank you
Your texting is difficult to follow.
Hairy leukoplakia has many appearances and is a late, not early stage of HIV infection. The lesions of HL however are not white spots.
An 8 week HIV test IS reliable. As I said above, believe your 8 week test result. You do not have HIV.
Chlamydia of the throat is very rare.
A single dose of azithromycin cures chlamydia quickly. If symptoms are present they may take a day or two to improve and may not completely go away for even longer. Because many tests for chlamydia can detect dead organisms, tests for chlamydia can remain positive for several weeks after successful treatment.EWH
alos one last question what does hairy leukoplakia look like....and is it the early stage of hiv oor later stage of hiv
thank you sir....
it jus the anixety that i m having im not sure about the status of my hiv partners...i have some question 1.now i had chlamydia in my throat, and i might hav had sex during that time, what are the chances of hiv if i wear a condom as a protection if had chlamydia....2and the white spots are not on top of my toungue they are on the side on the both side i can clearly see them when i take my tounge out they are visible...and also aquestion.... how long does it take zithormax to cure chlamydia......also i was tested on oct22 and last i had sex was on sep 22 and it ws protected....so the un protected one in july would be consider a risky behaviour...and the hiv test i had was at 8 weeks....should i go by this ..thank alot...
Welcome to the Forum. This is a low risk exposure. While I cannot promise you that your partner did not have HIV, it is most unlikely and your negative HIV test more than 8 weeks after your unprotected exposures in July PROVE that you did not get HIV..
Hairy leukoplakia does not present as white spots on the tongue and whatever these are, they do not represent HIV.
Bottom line-you did not get HIV from this exposure and do not need to worry. Take care. EWH
