please help me I can't cope.

10 days ago I had sex with an english working girl, the condom broke I do not know what her status is. I'm really worried about HIV, my right gland in my neck is a bit swallon and I'm starting to feel run down and my muscles are sore. I'm really stressed about this and I don't know what to do.

I suffer from panic attacks and I have had 4 in the last 4 days, regarding this.

Is it possible to show early HIV symptoms after 10 days, also if she is HIV+ how at risk am I of getting it and should i get tested?

Please help, I'm in such a state I have even started to cry when writing this.

Help me.

Usually symptoms shows in two weeks but you should not diagnose HIV with symptoms. A lot of people infected with HIV didn't have any symptoms. In other words there are no confirm studies when a person shows symptoms of HIV. The only guideline to diagnose HIV is with testing. If it really bothers you ask to be tested with PCR since it's only been 10 days. It's not really as good as the antibody test but it's close enough to get a reliable result and you don't have to wait 12 weeks since exposure for the test. I hope this helps...

Your exposure is lesser than you might think. Can clarify your exposure, When the condom broke did you know and stop or you didn't know it broke... Knowing your status based on symptoms is a waste of time because HIV symptoms are very common to other illness. The only thing you can do is get tested at least 8 weeks from the exposure and in 3 months from the exposure. See your doctor it might be a different illness. You have nothing to lose in seeing a doctor right now and it might help your anxiety. I hope this helps. Take care and be safe.
