why my posts been deleted?
I just want to know the answer,Dr
thank u dr EWH,but Id like to know the reason of the answer to my 2rd question, did virologists have done research or experiments on it to prove that?
You have now posted over 31 times in the past two weeks and gotten the same answers repeatedly, yet you keep asking the questions. Repeating the question will not change the answer.
Further, you do not get to choose which of us answers your questions. We do so according to our availability..
Finally, you are permitted only two new questions in any six month period. After this thread has ended, no further posts until May 2014.
These are repetitive questions:
question 1:IS EIA test in CHINA reliable for test all groups of HIV? what is the sensitivity of it to detect rare groups?
Tests which are approved for use by the U.S. FDA or World Health organization reliably detect all types of HIV infection, including type O. We do not monitor country by country test performance but if the test performed was approved as above, the results would be reliable. In general, tests manufactured in China are quite reliable.
question 2:if any subtype/group like HIV O that HAS Weak virulence and low virus breeding rate can cause antibody titer lower than detectable level after window period time?can you help me answer this question and hope there have some documents or experiments support that!
No, as i said above, if you were infected with HIV of any sort, including type O, your test would be positive. EWH
hope DR HHH answer my question
