how efficient is the p24 HIV test

haloo anyone.. I managed to do a p24 HIV test after about 3yrs since i was exposed.. I've been reading around and found out that the test is not efficient if you wait for so long for the HIV to be fully established.. Please help me here... i'm worried sick...

The type of test that i think you are referring to is normally called a duo or a combo.  This contains both detection of p24 antigen and antibodies.  At 3 years past exposure a negative with this test is totally conclusive and would have been conclusive at 12 weeks post exposure.

You never had an exposure and you didn't need testing.
