please help

My last risky exposure to HIV was 12/18/09. I had unprotected intercourse (vaginal) 3 times with a man who I now know was messing with men while he was in prison. I just had a test done at 9 weeks with the rapid testing where you get your results in 20 min and  it came back negative . Im still scared. Last week I went to the hospital because I had 2 boils on my stomach and the doctor told me I had MRSA. My first question is can having MRSA give you a false negative on a test and my second question is I take vitamins everyday I take a multi, vitamin c, b complex, Fish oil and sea kelp can that make my body take longer to produce antibodies to show up on a test.

Chances of getting HIV IF your partner was infected is, on average, 1 in 1-2,000 per act of intercourse,  EWH

Welcome to the Forum. You did not get HIV form the exposure you describe.  Even before you had the test results, it is unlikely since it is unlikely that your partner had HIV and even if he was infected, unlikely that he would infect you.

Now however you have test results which prove that you o not have HIV.  A test result at 9 weeks provides definitive evidence that you did not get infected.  There is no need for further testing.

MRSA infections are common and that you had a MRSA infection does not indicate that you have HIV.

That you take fish oil, kelp and vitamins would not slow your development of antibodies to HIV if you had gotten it.  Believe your test results.  Take Care.  EWH

As far as I know i dont think Vitamins or fish oil would prevent you from producing antibodies. Perhaps some more experienced users can answer. Good to hear your nine week test was negative. Just get tested again at the 12 week mark. Dont think about it too much. Try and keep yourself busy and around ppl so that you dont think too much. I am sure you will be HIV negative.

Its also not that easy to contract HIV,

Try not to stress too much! Sometimes a lot of things can be stress/anxiety related.
