just for comfort

Hi I am working with groups at college.   And I shake their hands all the time and we all have cuts since its the cold dry season. And we work together on the project with lots of paper cuts.
To the question
1) Is there a risk from shaking hands with cuts? Should i worry or test?
2) Paper cuts , are they a risk or shall I just move on and continue our work.

Welcome to the Forum.  HIV is spread among adults only through genital or ano-genital sexual contact and through injection of infected material deep into tissue.  It is not spread through casual contact incluing touching or shaking hands.  This is true even when persons have new cuts or scrapes on their hands.  There is absolutely no risk to you from shaking hands or from paper cuts.  There is no reason for testing related to the activities you describe and noneed to worry or stop doing what you have described.

Take care EWH
