Confused which test to take

Hi
I am 28 yrs old uncircumcised male who had a protected oral and vaginal exposure with a CSW (I know its stupid and I can't blame my friends, I got too drunk and got myself into this situation)

I had a 4 gen duo at 10 days , 16 days after exposure and came negative. I am from india and I am betting up myself for my action and I went again on day 23 to take a HIV RNA PCR and it came back negative too.

But looking into the forum I see experts here says PCR should not be uses as a diagnostic test.

Now my question is while looking into various forums and sites I can see one fact repeated in all that people recently infected are in acute infection will have high viral load and will be easily infection others. If this fact is true then why a PCR load is not treated as a conclusive or a more accurate result for newly infected.

Any answers will help me a lot

You did not have a risk and that is all that matters.

Thanks for the assurance. I am trying hard to make me believe my that I am not infected and yet my mind is not resting. I even had counseling session to over come my situation and the good doctor asked me to take the PCR test to make mymind clear. But even with the negative result I am finding differences in facts on various forum and again my mind is battling.

I am now even start to imagine that my condom might have broke and I have not noticed it ( I know the condom just don't tear but break wide open exposing my urethal opening) but my mind is now playing games and my Dr got mad at me when I told him this today. He think I am hurting myself too much thinking abt the exposure.

But in your opinion what was ur suggestion for me on the question I asked...

Thanks

Hi, using a condom you had no risk so no testing is needed.
