long term contact

Hi
For about two months I lived with gay man who appeared to be job positive. We had always anal sex with condom but oral sex without and sometimes he rimmed me. I always received oral and was active during sex. Was it risky?

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug abusers
Mother to child

But once he had bleeding gums and unfortunately I have piles. Does this fact change the situation with rimming?

No. Rimming isn't an HIV risk, oral sex is not a risk and you had protected anal sex is not a risk.
