Finasteride Effects on HIV Test

Dear Doctors,
Does Finasteride drug 1 mg ( Used for treating benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) - Enlarged Prostate ) impact the HIV testing.
I had a exposure with CSW on 27-Nov-2011.I had a HIV 1 + 2 Ag & Ab test done after 4 weeks post exposure. It came back negative.
But I developed symptoms like Sore throat , Rashes and Clear Penis discharge at 2 - 4 weeks mark.
I was on Finasteride for last 6 months prior to this test. Then I stopped the drug.Today I had HIV 1 + 2 Ag & Ab done 14 weeks post exposure and it came back negative.
1.Can Finasteride impact the HIV result. Will it prevent the test from detecting the Antigen/Antibody.
2.Can a 14 week DUO test be considered final and conclusive.

Thanks

P24 antigen has nothing to do with antibodies and you are not a chemo patient.

You haven't been diagnosed as having cancer and you aren't on chemo. You do not have HIV.

Thanks for the Quick reply.

I was worried as few websites state benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) - Enlarged Prostate as a form of cancer and from the HIV Prevention forum , what i understood was patients on Cancer treatment will have a depressed immune system and will delay the formation of antibodies.
