please help me

i am gay, i had an exposure last two weeks, i swallowed semen but we are protected, last december he had an HIV test using ELISA which tested negatively.. today i have sore throat, sinusitis and cough. is it possible for me to get infected though he was tested negatively ? and how effective is ELISA for detection ? thanks

Oral sex is zero risk for hiv. Hiv is caused by unprotected anal\vaginal penetration. As you used protection, the is no hiv concern as you had no exposure.
