oral sex - got other std, what about hiv?

I know I've been here lately and that i should not be back so soon, but I just can't stand it.

Persons of drama:
-me
-CSW#1
-CSW#2
-my partner

I had TWO episodes of unprotected oral sex (CSW#2 10 days after CSW#2), after which I've been diagnosed with chlamydia and began treatment.
Concurrently I've managed to launch the treatment of my partner, because I was afraid she got chlamydia from me (we were having unprotected oral sex at the time of CSW#2).

After 22 days from second, and 32 days from the first event I did get negative HIV Ag/AB test (4th gen.).

I am now 35 days from the first and 25 from second act of my stupidity and i am not feeling any relief.

Bad news:
+2 weeks ago me and my partner developed strange sore throat (one day it hurts, and at the other it's gone). Up to date we are also suffering from phlegm in our throats which just does not want to go.
+I've seen my physician today - confirmed inflamed tonsils,swollen, unpainfull lymph nodes under my jaw and a little one on the right groin.
+I can also feel strange feeling (mild pain?) in my armpits, but the doc said it's nothing there yet.

Some good news:
-I've got no fever. My partner neither.
-I've got no rash. Neither does my partner.
-I've got no muscle aches similar to ones when having influenza - few times a day i just feel my leg or hand for few seconds. My partner has none.

And the questions:
1 - How can we get these throat symptoms while receiving 100mg doxycycline for last two weeks?
2 - I've read on wiki (yes, I know it's louzy source of med info - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HIV_test) that with p24 tests average window period is 16 days. I took my test at 22 but everyone keeps saying i need 6 weeks to be sure. I fall into pieces hearing that- I am afraid of confessing the truth to my partner simultaneously going crazy about infecting her, as she wants to start having sex within 10 days, which will be 45 days since exposure.
3 - What, for god's sake, should i do?

Thank you doc. I am going crazy because of my lymph nodes, but I'll try to calm down and do another test next week. I've put myself on the edge of insanity - it's hard to ignore these symptoms even though I know how misleading they are.

You asked the same questions in another thread on this forum just a few days ago.  You do not have HIV.  The answers to your questions are:

1) Sore throat despite doxycyccline:  Most sore throats are due to minor respiratory viruses.  Doxycycline is an antibiotic and does not treat viruses.  You caught a cold, that's all.

2) Window periods:  You are confusing the window periods for p24 antigen testing (usually 10 days) with antibody test results (up to 6 weeks).  

3) "What, for god's sake, should i do?"  For God's sake (and your own), you should stop worrying so much and you definitely should stop searching the internet for bad news, which is all you will find, given your state of mind.  Accept the reassurance you have been given.  You did not catch HIV.  Continue to follow-up with your own doctor if your sore throat continues or you have other concerns.  However, no more comments on this forum please.

Also, please note the MedHelp rule about a maximum of 2 questions every 6 months on the professionally moderated forums.  No more for you before January 2010.
