I'm in no position to advise (you can read back at my threads), but what I thought was oral thrush (looks identical to images, and have white flecks at the back of my tongue) actually wasn't.
I had a negative swab and one of the best oral medicine experts in the world telling me that it wasn't.
Don't look at images or read so called "expert" advice. All I read on the internet was Doctors saying a coated tongue is probably thrush. In fact, it probably isn't.
The point being, no matter how much something may look like thrush, you can't diagnose yourself.
if you had unprotected sex...you need to test.
see your doctor if you are having health concerns
You cannot diagnose yourself with thrush. Thrush is not HIV specific.
