Non sexual exposure

My ex-roommate admitted to me that he had sex with a Mexican sex worker. He told me this over 2 years ago, so I cannot remember if he said he wore a condom or not, although I believe he said he did. This never bothered me when we lived together, but I ran into him last night at a bar and he had a cut on his knee that was still bleeding. I got a little freaked out, so when I got home I washed my hands thoroughly, changed clothes and went to bed. What concerns me is that I may have come into contact with some of his blood, on a surface at the bar, by shaking his hand or through contact with one of our friends who may have had contact with his blood over the course of the night. I didn't shower after I left the bar, and now I'm nervous the blood may have been on my clothes or someplace other than my hands where I couldn't see it, so i may have touched my mouth/eyes with his blood without knowing.

Is there any reason for me to get tested? Further more, should I suggest my friend get tested (I know he has not yet)? I don't want to feel stressed out around my friend, and I don't want him to go untreated if he does have HIV.

He wasn't in any risk if he didn't have unprotected vaginal or anal sex.

But on the other hand, should I talk to him about getting a test for his own health? How much at risk do you think he was? And is it any of my business to say anything to him?

You are going ultra sensitive. HIV never transmitted the way you described. You don't need any test simply becasuse you risk is non existent.
