paper cut with diabatic and hive patient

Hi
I am an insurance representative at a hospital. We have a diabetic hiv patient and he had a finger prick for diabetes then held his paper and gave it to me and I had a paper cut.  His blood was on it for sure.   What do I do now ? His blood was on the paper and it gave me a cut . I took it directly from him and imidiatly gave me the cut

You have no HIV concern.  You cannot get HIV like that, for one, the virus is very fragile and does not maintain its ability to infect when it is outside of the body.  Two, there wouldn't be enough blood in that scenario to cause a risk.  Third, it would have no way to access your bloodstream, which has to happen to cause infection.  Even a small cut or abrasion would not allow the virus to reach the bloodstream.
