An Important HIV question

Hi,
I have a question that if a specimen collection device collects a sample for HIV(say oral fluids) and stored in lab conditions or airtight pouch and test it after like 3-4 months, will the antibodies would be detectable in the test if the specimen contains antibodies to HIV? Waiting for the reply.

Thanks

What I said is true about blood samples at least - I've never heard of oral fluids being stored, so theoretically there could be a difference.

If stored properly, the anibodies should be as detectable as they were 3-4 minutes after collection.
