handyman what is garden variety?
I really have no idea what that means
Any garden variety antibody test is fine if taken post 12 weeks exposure risk.
12 X7 is 84....
But you had no risk to begin with....
The test was the rapid finger prick teste
Handyman I tested at around the 90th day. Is that too early?
Yes. Testing too early. But you had no risk to begin with.
Thank you once again, Vance. You told me even earlier that I Had no risk and I appreciate and understand that. I'm sure you you understand the thought of this whole thing is killing.
I have understood through this forum that symptoms mean nothing that is why I got a test done. And the test was negative. So just wasn't to know about the accuracy of the finger prick test. I have read this test is not an antigen test but only an antibody test. Is an antibody test enough at the 90 day mark or is there a test needed at 6 months or any other kind of testing needed?
Nodes swell for many many reasons. You had no risk.
Yes the doctor and the radiologist confirmed there are swollen lymph nodes. That is the main reason I am so worried. Chipdawg how long do lymph nodes remain swollen?
tests are conclusive.
who says your lymph nodes are swollen? the doctor? they may just be tender a a result of you continuously poking and prodding in an anxious state.
forget about hiv...just stick to wearing condoms for vaginal and anal sex and you'll avoid hiv.
