rapid or ELISA
I had a brief head penetration anal sex only for 10 seconds for about two times a night(6 weeks ago) and hard anal rubbing (10 days ago) i m penile partner. i made rapid HIV immunochromatic tests (about four brands) manufactured by china n korea, the results were weakly positives. but on next day after those rapid tests i made Lab ELISA and the result was negative. some my friends from medical fields told me not to worry too much since rapid tests can give false positive. which should i believe?
what is comparable test?
but i found some facts that if positive in rapid especially weak positive, two ELisa followed n if these two elisa were negative, it can be assumed as negative but if elisas were disagree, WB confirm finally. i had one negative elisa. if i test another elisa at a lab 3 months later and negative , do i need WB ?

All positive tests have to be confirmed, doesn't matter if it is a rapid or standard test. So the answer is no and to add to your info. Rapid tests are ELISA tests.
i would like to know one thing.
if rapid tests were true positives, could ELisa show still non-reactive?
i mean that can my previous negative elisa after rapid test positive cancelled the positive results(ie, rapid results were false)

Take a standard antibody test at 3 monrths. Rapid tests can yield false + results. I would retest at 3 months and from there.
