Thank you doctor. as you are aware an anxious mind seeks only the negatives..
gosh, u must be one hell of a warrior to bear all this psychos like me! thanks again
You are taking that other thread entirely out of context. That was an entirely speculative discussion in response to a speculative, anxiety-driven question. Deep kissing is not a risk for HIV, period.

Dear Doc,
In one of your postings I read a newly infected person's viral load could be a factor in deep kissing.
isn't it a bit contradictory to your assumption deep kissing poses no risk?
sorry if i am being intrusive? thanks
I don't remember Dr. Handsfield saying that, and I generally read pretty much all of his posts. Can you post the link?
let me find out. he didn't quite say it in an alarmist way though.
The exposure you describe carried no risk of HIV transmisison, with or without a hangnail--never, not once, nada, zilch, zero, nichevo. It is probable that nobody in the world ever got HIV by a hand job, cuts or no cuts.
This is the second question in 2 days that mentions lime juice as something to prevent HIV. Is there something on the web or elsewhere about it? It's wacko.
Good luck-- HHH, MD
