infection through clothes

So a few months ago I went through the process of testing, so my roommate asked me this question, wanted to know what you guys thought:

Here is the situation. My roommate went to Fla about a month ago, met a guy she hooked up with who was a friend of a friend. They hooked up, but she says they never has sex. What they did was kiss for hours, and some masturbation (self) and a lot fo dry humping. When she got up, she noticed her underwear had some semen on it (they were both wearing underwear). She asked the guy his status after she got home since 2 weeks to the date after, she came down with the flu. They guy pretty much laughed at her through an email and said he was fine.

So what do you guys think?? Can someone catch something through clothes???

i am sorry i think i would of laughed at her over the phone too, someone who is sexually active and doesnt know how hiv is transmitted should not be having sex. the question is ludicris.

Teak's advice is the probably best your going to get without paying to ask the Doctors on here. If you're worried take a test I know they're stressful but they're 90% reliable after a month and that coupled with the fact it probably is impossible to pass HIV this way would make the odds stupendous.

Thank you TEAK, truly appreciate it! She was all freaked out since she told me she could feel him through her clothes. I told her the chance was slim to none, but wanted to see what you thought.

Leedsio: dry humping is when you rub genitals together without actually havin sex, Keeping some form of clothes on.
