Taking the plunge
Hi everyone. I am going to do a rapid test tomorrow here at the clinic and I have to say I have seriously never been so scared in my life. I talked with my wife and she has extreme diarrhea today. This will be the 4th day in a row of her having gastro. issues, but today is the first day of such extrme diarrhea. I am only at 10 weeks, and still plan on testing in 2, but I need a baseline as of now. I really can't function today and am hoping if this turns out to be a negative result (which in all honesty I don't think it will) than maybe I can breathe a bit easier for the next little bit.
Anyway, if it is positive I just wanted to say thank you to all who have been supportive and you are trully wonderful and have given me support.

take it easy your wife diarrea could be caused by thousands fo other things, in 99% of the cases by eating something bad, so try to relax, the chance you got infected from one broken condom episode is so low that your anxiety and stress is way out of proportion, everything would be ok, I`m really sure that your test would be negative.
Sorry but youre being a frigging idiot. Since when in the hell is diarrhea a sure sign of an HIV infection? That is the stupidest thing I have heard in a while, probably even more lame than all the dirty needle stories around here. If diarrheas was proof of HIV then the human race would be ****** and doomed for extiction very soon.

I appreciate the encouraging words. It's just my wife having such bad diarrhea today and diarrhea coupled with loose/discoloured stools for the other three days is to to sure a sign of being hiv positive.

Man chill out, it will be negative. I havent been able to dig up a case yet on this site where a worried person was posting here and turned out to be positive.
When you get your 10 week negative beack i wouldnt even bother going again after that because a 10 week isnt gonna change.
