hey,doctor.I am a Chinese student,several days ago, I bought a sex toy on the website and it came in 7 days, I just soaked it in 40-50。C warm water for 1-2 hours and used it without condom and lube. what i am worried is that there is no introduction，no producer, no  manufacturing code.I Want to ask:
1、Can hiv survive outside for 7 days and still be active?
2、Can warm water kill hiv?I did not wash the sex toy, just soak it in warm water.
3、If someone had HIV had used it prior to shipping for some unknown reseason. would I be able to contract HIV still?
4、I know many doctors say hiv can not survive long, why there is still risk of dental device?

thank you very much, and I am relaxed much. I think our country (China) is too conservative. In the hiv brochures, our doctors think share shaver ，tattoo needle， foot-repaired knife ,  hair-cut knife or dental device...If you are  was stabbed and bleed when someone-positive use it before you ,you are at the risk of contacting HIV, and doctor will suggest you have a test after 3 monthes,though the risk is low. So I called the CDC(of China),and let the doctors assess my behavior, they say low risk ,and should have a test for the safety.  I really don't know how to do...

Find a new doctor. HIV is not alive, it is either active or inactive. Once outside the host HIV becomes inactive.

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug users
Mother to child

Thanks for you answering. you mean the risk is zero?and I don't need to have a test? The doctor in my country said if someone used the sex toy before me,
the hiv can live days and weeks, thought the risk is very low ,he suggested I should have a test after 3 monthes,so I am very scared.  What I am concered is whether I should have a test,or, the risk is zero ,not low.   thank you again.
