Hi Doc,
Sorry to start this thread again. I woke up this morning with stomach upset and feeling bit sick like having flu. This has started my fear again because it has been two weeks post exposure.
But last night I had couple of beers and had lot of food is this might causing body heat and stomach upset or they are related to HIV.
I know I am on no risk but this is freaking me out because I think the masseur might have infected me somehow.
Pls doc reply to this post.
Glad to help. Take care. EWH
Thanks for you valuable inputs doc. I am relived.
As I said, if there was no penetration there is no risk and no reason for concern. You would know it if penetration had occurred. I would not worry. EWH
Thank you very much for your information doctor. This relives me a lot. I even went to a counselor at SHC at they advised me that I do not need testing for this encounter.
I just have one concern what is the possibility of risk when my penis rubbed to anus during the sexual simulation. I am concerned because I will be leaving to meet my mom and dad after 5 years. I did not want to put my self my risk. So you think I am totally free and no testing is required.
Thanks for your time again
Welcome to the Forum. I'll try to help by working through your points one-by-one. Before I do however, let me summarize my sense of where things stand. This sounds as though it was a no risk exposure and you have no reason for concern or for testing. HIV is not spread without penetrative sex and you would have known it if penetration occurred. Activities such as kissing, mutual masturbation and frottage (body rubbing) do not lead to HIV transmission despite the fact that it is usual for genital secretions from one partner to get on the other in the course of these activities. Now let's work through your questions:
1. HIV is not transmitted without penetration, even if pre-ejaculatory fluid wound up on or around your anus.
2. Even if he had cuts on his hand, masturbation of this sort does not represent a risk.
3. Your skin was not broken by his bites. This too in not a risk for HIV.
4. See number 1 above. This is call frottage. HIV is not spread by frottage.
5. HIV is not transmitted on cloth, or inanimate objects. the virus is just too fragile and dies before this can happen.
As I said, the activities you describe did not put you at risk for HIV. I see no need for testing. I hope my comments are helpful If not, please feel free to follow-up. EWH
