urgent: pep oral sex.

i'm a 23old guy from south of Italy. 8 days ago  i met a married swinger couple (f/m) , i engaged in PROTECTED anal sex, fellatio with ejaculation in my mouth  ( swallowed), rimming to her  and cunnilingus. the oral sex was deep throat and pretty rough.
20 hours from the encounter i started up PEP( kaletra+ truvada), with the usual side effects + blood in the spitting ( a consequence of the deep throat or of the kaletra ? i noticed the blood only 1/2 days after the 1th assumption)
tomorrow morning the male of the couple promised me he's gonna test and show the result.
in case of negativity should i interrupt the treatment ? or i need both of them  to be tested ?
i'm really scared of the oncogenic long term effect of the treatment, or of the possible hepatitis.
i can't sleep and i'm scared to have ruined my life.
please help me.

Any potential increased risk of cancer from PEP drugs is theoretical only.  I believe it has ever actually happened. This is a silly thing to be worried about.

If you still have concerns, talk to your own doctor.  That's definitely all for this thread.

than you doctor for your fast answers....
i would just like to know, in general terms, not specific to my situation  whether 7 days of pep can increase  the  risk of tumors .
thank you

The numbers in such calculations are not precise, but your figures are probably in the right ballpark.  In my opinion, that risk level is far too low to warrant PEP.  But I recommend you not stop treatment without discussing it with the doctor who prescribed it.

Welcome to the forum.

Your question probably is one of those that can be answered accurately based only on the title.  Oral sex is extremely low risk for HIV, probably zero or close to it -- i.e. the risk is never high enough for PEP.  Perhaps an exception would be made for the anxious patient after oral sex with a known-infected partner.  But aside from that, I'm confident you don't need PEP.

Now I have read the question itself and see you already have been prescribed PEP.  As indicated by my comments above, I would not have recommended it unless one or both of your partners were known to have HIV -- and maybe not even then.  However, since you have started, I cannot advice you further.  We do not get into actual clinical management, which is not appropriate for a distant online forum.  Your questions are entirely related to the Kaletra treatment itself, the side effects, and so on -- which we don't deal with at all on this forum.  You should ask your questions of the doctor or clinic that prescribed PEP.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.  Good luck--  HHH, MD

i did some maths about the event :
0,05 % ( the oral risk ) * 10% ( the chance of them to be infected, too high probably) = 0,005%
in case i finish the pep : 0.005 * 20%( considering a 80% succesfull rate of the pep ) = 0,001
if tomorrow the husband is negative i would consider his chance to have gotten aids during the window period and his wife to be infected = 0,1 %.
in this case  the total risk without pep should be 0,00005 .
