Hi everybody!
I'm Italian so sorry for my english.
Maybe my post will sound weird but I would like to know what you think about a situation that happened to me and that is driving me crazy.
Some weeks ago I was walking down the street on the sidewalk.
It s not a busy road and it was aboout 8 pm.
I was wearing sandals and when I was walking I experienced under my foot(between the foot and sole of the shoe) something like a pebble.
But when I came back home I started to think that perhaps it was not a pebble but a syringe.
I didn't look around when I was walking so infact i didn't know if there was a syringe.
I remember that I saw a man but not well because it was a bit dark and I thought that maybe he had just thrown a
Syringe.
At home I checked the foot and I don't remember well but I think tere was not blood.
Should I get tested?
If I had a needle stick with a needle just used and thrown, it would be at risk?

Yes,even if it was used minutes before--the blood on the tip of a syringe is not infectious for the reason i have already explained to you.

Even if it was a syringe it still was no risk for HIV transmission because HIV can't survive once exposed to air and therefore it can't infect you.I would stop worrying about this.
