Yes you are right, it is nature's blessing that transmission of this deadliest virus is not that easy. Based on statistics, the number of 1/2000 is derived, however it is important to point out, HIV transmission is not a game of probability and numbers. Sometime just one exposure is enough for the transmission to take place, therefore it is always advised to to test after a true exposure (unprotected anal and vaginal sex)
Yes that's what iv thought, iv had failures in the past, and it's pretty darn obvious when one breaks, as it feels different and can usually feel it pop.
She did use lube aswell so it was probably fine and me just overreacting.
But because i didn't check it afterwards which I usually do, I just had the thought stuck in my head 'what if' thought.
I mean if the worker didn't care about safe sex she wouldn't of used one in the first place ay..
Iv also heard the risks of contracting HIV from one exposure is extremely low, like 1/2000 even if they were HIV + it's still low. Is this true? There is so much different information out there.
Thanks for your reply
Much appreciated
Condom failures are catastrophic and too obvious to ignore. Did the condom fail, you would have noticed it, therefore it is safely assumed that your condom did not fail. In that situation, your risk never existed,
