I had unprotected oral sex from CSW in Thailand almost 4 weeks ago. 10 days ago i started developing all sorts of symptoms that all indicate to ARS (swollen lymphnodes, nightseweats, low grade fever, tingling arms and legs, white tongue....), I'm scared to death and took a test at 25 days which came back negative (but too early obviously). I did not *** in her mouth and exposure was very very short (twice around 30 seconds) but i noticed her teeths rimming on the penis. I am scared to death because i have all the symptoms, i haven't slept in 2 weeks and am in an advanced stage of depression, i started a new job and my lack of motivation shows which adds even more to the stress, i did not penetrate the girl at all nor fingered her or anything like that , i think am gonna trun all positive given the symptoms and that i couldn't take
i know oral sex is very very low risk but are there still any risks if the girl giving oral being positive to infect the receiver, would i be one of these 'near miss' or statistical anomalies.....please answer me am desperate and sick

First, there is an extremely LOW risk of getting HIV from a blowjob. Statistics talk about 0.5 in 10,000 occurence.

Then, you need to know that saliva contains HIV inhibitors, which means that HIV cannot be transmitted through the mouth, except if you had a bad cut or scrape on your penis, bleeding, and that the prostitute had bleeding gums.

All the symptoms you're describing are those of a common cold, but added to high anxiety, stress and depression, can seem like they're going to be the end of you.

Relax and take some cold medicine for a few days, and try to get some anti-anxiety drugs for now. You can ask for anti-depressants as well, but know that they won't kick in until 3 or 4 weeks.

But really, if you didn't have penetration involved, DON'T WORRY YOU'RE OKAY!

i realyy dont know what to do i'm so scared the symptoms are all the symptoms of early infection i just cant believe they happen like this because of stress and reading the internet, i have tested negative with the duo test 28 days after exposure, the doc told me it was 99%+ accurate i dunno what to believe i feel like im in the statistical error, im so desperate i have lost all life and cant wait until 3 months to get a definitive result, i might just snap in between please what should i do anything i could take to ease my anxiety or am i already lost? the few friends i've mentioned my concerns to said am loosing it and acting completely erratically i duno what to do id rather die from a painless death now please please what can i do?

You didn't have a risk of contracting HIV from the oral sex you received. If your symptoms concern you see your doctor they have nothing to do with HIV.
